The World Wide Technology Championship at Mayakoba, held at Playa del Carmen, south of Cancún, is a professional golf tournament. This tournament is part of the PGA Tour in Mexico, launched in February 2007, and was the first PGA Tour event of the century in Mexico. Details of World Wide Technology Championship 2022
Golfers are playing in the championship at El Cameleon Golf Course in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, this year. Purse and prize money breakdown
The 2022 World Wide Technology Championship’s purse is $8.2 million. Pro golfers will compete in Mayakoba, where the winner will take home $1,476,000. The winner’s prize amount is the standard 18% of the total purse amount, set by the PGA Tour’s prize money distribution chart.
