The Walmart NW Arkansas Championship is coming to an end after some spectacular rounds. The professional women’s golf tournament is played at the Pinnacle Country Club in Rogers. It was a four-day-long tournament and will be ending on 25th September 2022. But what is the total purse and prize money for the event? And how much will the winner take home?

The Walmart NW Arkansas Championship
This is the 15th edition of one of the most awaited tournaments of the LPGA Tour. The first event took place back in 2007 and was held at the Pinnacle CC from the beginning. The most interesting part of the tournament is that defending champion, Nasa Hataoka is leading the game yet again. The World No. 10 won the tournament in 2021 winning her second title at the Arkansas Championship. She also won the 2022 DIO Implant LA Open and is looking forward to making her second win for the season.
Total purse, prize money, and winner’s share for the tournament
The 54-hole Walmart NW Arkansas Championship is set at a total purse of $2,300,000. And the winner is going to take away $345,000 out of the huge purse. Here is the individual prize money for the players who will manage to make the cut in the championship:

Who all are playing at the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship?
Along with the defending champion, Nasa Hataoka, the field also features three previous years’ winners in the game. These include the 2014 champion Stacy Lewis, 2015 winner Na Yeon Choi, as well as the winner from 2017 So Yeon Ryu. Other famous players who are playing in the tournament include Andrea Lee, Nelly Korda, Minjee Lee, Lydia Ko, Lexi Thompson, and Atthaya Thitikul.

What else is on the line for the players?
Other than the prize money, there is a lot more the tournament has to offer to the players, especially the winner. The winner will receive 500 points for the Race to the CME Globe. Along with that, the top 60 golfers from the tournament will be part of the season-ending CME Group Tour Championship. More benefits for the winner include an exemption of more than two years on the LPGA Tour along with fixed entry into other big tournaments.
