The 2022 Toto Japan Classic is scheduled to be played at the Seta Golf Club. The field is full of talented players from across the world. Which top players are competing at the 2022 Toto Japan Classic?
The tournament was not on the list of LPGA Tour events for the last two years due to the Covid-19 pandemic. However, it has now returned and brought along some of the best players in the world to participate in the tournament. The field contains 19 of the top 50 golfers in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Ranking. And some of the names of these top players include Atthaya Thitikul, who recently became the second youngest world no. 1.

Other top players participating in the event include World No. 5 Minjee Lee and World No.9 Nasa Hataoka. Three-time major champion Anna Nordqvist will also be playing some of her best shots in the Toto Japan Classic this year.
Total purse, prize money, and winner’s share for the tournament
The Toto Japan Classic is in the news for having some of the best players from the LPGA Tour on the field. And the golfers are excited to win the title along with the huge prize money in the event. The tournament is set at a total purse of $2 million. And the winner will receive $300,000 as her share of the total amount. Whereas, the runner-up will take home $182,538. Other benefits for players in the tournament
Besides the spectacular trophy and the exciting prize money, there are other benefits for players in the tournament. The winner of the event will receive 500 points in the Race to the CME Globe. And the top 60 golfers at the end of the Pelican Women’s Championship will get into the CME Group Tour Championship. Other benefits for the winner include a two-year exemption on the LPGA Tour along with fixed seats in upcoming events.
