The field is full of talented players this year, including previous champions and other amazing golfers. Mackenzie Hughes has returned to the field to prove himself and win the title this year. The golfer was defeated by Talor Gooch last year, who finished on 22 under par and beat Hughes by three strokes. However, Gooch is no longer eligible to participate since he joined the LIV Golf league. And therefore, someone else would take away his title in this season of the tournament.

While another player to look out for is Kevin Kisner, who barely lost to Streb during the 2020 edition of the tournament. Other players on the field include Tyler Duncan, Austin Cook, and Webb Simpson. While Charles Howell III, who won the tournament in 2018, is also ineligible like his pal Gooch due to joining LIV Golf.
