While a strong contingent of 144 players will be teeing off for silverware in Ohio, two of its top-ranked players will be missing in action. World No.1, Jin Young Ko and American golfer, Nelly Korda are due to skip the event. Also missing among other major players will be Lydia Ko and In Gee Chun, both of whom rank in the Top 10 of the LPGA standings.
However, the rooster will have enough firepower to catch the eye – the likes of Minjee Lee, Brooke Henderson, Atthaya Thitikul, Danielle Kang, and Lexi Thompson are certain to keep the competition elevated at the event.
