2022 Honda Classic is underway and is arguably one of the most enthralling and probably, most challenging events. It is the eighth PGA Tour event of this season and includes some big names in the sport. Therefore, it will be really interesting to see how many players make it through to the weekend.

The Honda Classic as usual is taking place at the PGA National Resort and Spa- Champions Course. The defending champion this week is Matt Jones, who won the event back in 2021. The scoring conditions in the first round said the same. Overall scoring conditions in round one were +1.28, which includes, +1.07 in the morning as well as +1.49 in the afternoon.

With 85 players at one-over-par or better, it will be really interesting to see what will be the cut-line after the second round ending on Friday. Only the top 65 professionals and ties will make it to the weekend.

The top three predictions for the cut-line at the 2022 Honda Classic are Two-over-par. It has the most probability of being cut with a chance of 39.8%. It is followed by one-over-par with 33.3% as well as, three-over-par with a 15.4% chance. The mammoth PGA National- the Champion Golf Course measures 7,125 yards, Par 70 and includes 12 par fours’, only two par fives and, four par threes’.

The bear trap that includes the 15th, 16th, and 17th holes will pose a great difficulty for the professionals as well, the tricky south-Florida winds will not make it much easier for them too. Moreover, the PGA National Resort and Spa- Champions Course is probably one of the toughest golf courses on the PGA Tour circuit.

This isn’t all, the course includes water hazards in almost each and every hole as a result hitting wayward shots will make it difficult for the professionals. However, let’s wait and see what will be the cut line after 36 holes on Friday?

Round two leader of 2022 Honda Classic

Daniel Berger leads the pack after the second round yesterday at the 2022 Honda Classic. The American professionals carded a low round of 65, five-under-par in the second round. His 65  included three birdies on the front nine.

As a result, making the turn in three-under-par, 32. He made three birdies and one single bogey on the back nine to finish the back nine with a score of two-under-par. He is currently at a score of 10-under-par and leads by three strokes.
