The D+D Real Czech Masters has already started at the Albatross Golf Resort in Prague. The winner from last year’s event, Johannes Veerman, has returned to the field to defend his title for the tournament. Not only him but his top-most competitor from the previous year, Tapio Pulkkanen, who lost by two shots last year, is also back on the course looking for redemption. If Pulkkanen makes it to the win, it would be his first DP World Tour victory in his golfing career. There has also been an increment in the prize money and the total purse for this year’s event.

Purse and Winner’s Share for the 2022 D+D Real Czech Masters

The total purse for his year has increased to a commendable level this year. Looking at the LIV Golf purses, many leagues have given great raises in their prize money to the players. The total purse for last year was €1 million. However, it has been raised to €1.75 million this year, which makes it a 75% increase in the prize money. The winner’s share out of this amount will be €291,660, which is a good deal in itself.

Other benefits for the winner and the players

This year, besides the increase in prize money that the players are set to receive, there are some other benefits and perks for the participants if they make the cut in the tournament.
