The Highland Meadows Golf Club is ready to host the 37th season of the Dana Open this year. The field is set at Sylvania, Ohio and the tournament will go on from Thursday to Sunday. Eight out of the top 10 golfers worldwide are competing in the tournament head-to-head this season. But what is the prize money for this year’s tournament?

Which top players will be competing in the Dana Open 2022?
The field is going to see lots of surprises this year in the tournament since fan favorites and the top two players will be absent from the field. World No. 1, Jin Young Ko, and World No. 2, Nelly Korda, are the only ones who will not be seen at the event. The ones competing include Minjee Lee, Lydia Ko, Brooke Henderson, Atthaya Thitikul, Lexi Thompson, Hyo Joo Kim, Nasa Hataoka, and In Gee Chun.
Not only them, but ten former winners will also be competing this year at the tournament, including Nasa Hataoka. Paula Creamer will also return to the field for the first time after having a daughter. The golfer received a lot of fame for winning the US Women’s Open in 2010.
Purse, prize money, and winner’s share for the 2022 Dana Open
The LPGA Tour has been growing tremendously over the past few years. Golf legends like Nelly Korda and In Gee Chun have highly contributed to the development and growth of the tour. Other benefits for the players at this year’s event

There are many more perks and benefits other than the prize money for the players who manage to make the cut at the 2022 Dana Open. And most of these benefits are specifically for the winner. Whoever manages to win the tournament will be earning 500 points toward the Race to the CME Globe. The winner will also receive an exemption for more than two years on the LPGA Tour, as well as fixed seats in other big tournaments.
