The 78-player field tournament is presented by Circle K, and it has returned to Timuquana Country Club for the second time. Fans are excited to watch their favorite players participate in the event. The tournament is going to take place between October 3-9 this year. The event includes the Community Champions program giving the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida supporters a chance to use the entire money from the purchase of tickets towards donations.

The tournament was able to generate more than $1.17 million for many local charities in 2021. And with the support of the Community Champions program, the tournament will be able to help many more people this year.

The tournament began on October 3, Monday with Pro-Ams. It is being broadcasted live on Golf Channel, which is also the exclusive cable provider for the PGA Tour Champions. Professional players including Steve Flesch, Steve Stricker, Vijay Singh, etc. are giving their best to make it to the top of the tournament.

Total purse, prize money, and winner’s share for the tournament

Fans are excited to watch their favorite players make the cut in the tournament. The total purse for the 2022 Constellation Furyk and Friends is $2 million. And the winner’s share out of the total purse is going to be $300,000. Here is the list of individual prize money for players making the cut:

Other benefits for the players from the tournament

The huge prize money for the event is enough to drive the players to give their best in the tournament. However, there is a lot more for the players on the line this year. The amount earned by the players will count towards the points list of the Charles Schwab Cup.

The top five players in the final standings of the Charles Schwab Cup will receive part of the $2.1 million bonus. However, the PGA Tour Champions doesn’t offer any OWGR points for the players in its events.
