The 2021 Hero World Challenge is all set to be played at Albany, Bahamas, from the 2nd to the 5th of December. Tiger Woods, the host of the event, recently took to Twitter to reveal the list of players competing. To say we’re all excited would definitely be an understatement.

Witnessing the best golfers in the world compete together is a treat to the eyes. The players in action comprise the likes of Collin Morikawa, Brooks Koepka, Bryson DeChambeau, Jordan Spieth, many more. In the expanded field of 20 players, 15 are ranked inside the top 20 in the OWGR rankings.

Postponed due to the covid-19 pandemic, the 2020 edition of the event, is being held this year on the island country. The unofficial PGA tour event offers no official prize money or FedEx points. It does, however, offer world ranking points. Moreover, all the proceeds from the event will benefit the TGR Foundation, Tavistock Foundation, and Bahamas Youth Foundation.

Tiger Woods expresses his excitement on Twitter

Tiger Woods took to Twitter earlier today to reveal the full list of players. He said, “So excited to welcome these incredible players to the Hero World Challenge. With 15 of the top 20 in the field, I know it’s going to be a great week.”

Notably, Woods was in a serious car crash earlier this year and has been in recovery since. Though insiders have revealed that he is continuously improving, it is still unknown whether the tournament host, will make an appearance or not.

Nevertheless, the 82-time PGA Tour winner is eager and thrilled for December’s event. Moreover, excited fans took to Twitter to reply to Woods’ tweet. Here is what some of them have to say:
