Bryson DeChambeau has been in the news ever since he joined LIV Golf. The professional golfer has made numerous records in his career. Fans saw a new avatar of the player after he returned all bulked up after his break from golf. However, his decision to join the new league led him to various controversies. And he recently broke another rumor on Instagram by replying to a fan’s comment.

Bryson DeChambeau tore apart a new LIV Golf rumor
The golf professional has played several events in the LIV Golf league. The golfer put his entire PGA Tour legacy at stake to earn the petrodollars from the Saudi-backed league. However, there was a new rumor circulating in the golf world regarding the payouts of the LIV Golf players.

Rumors suggested that the golfers might win LIV Golf tournaments but might not receive the winning amounts upright. A fan asked DeChambeau to clear the rumors about the same, asking him if the winner’s check was held back until the “contractual guaranteed” amount was cleared.

And in his response, DeChambeau said, “When we win we get paid outside what we contractually get paid. 2 streams of income”. DeChambeau’s response cleared many doubts and rumors among the fans regarding the payouts of the winning players in LIV Golf.

Will DeChambeau receive his alleged $125 million from LIV Golf upfront?
LIV Golf has signed huge deals with golfers and promised them millions of dollars. However, the amount comes at a cost that the players have to pay. Greg Norman’s contract with DeChambeau and other LIV Golf players states certain terms and conditions that the players have to meet.

According to the LIV deal, DeChambeau will have to give the tour access to all his media rights. This will allow LIV Golf to use his image as and when required. Along with that, DeChambeau will not be able to skip any tournaments in the league. He will also have to wear his LIV Golf apparel along with the LIV logo. However, his roles and responsibilities also keep him from working for the league outside the field. DeChambeau will also be bound to convince other players to join the breakaway circuit.
