Saudi League has created a division among the golfers. Some want to stay on the PGA Tour, while others want to play at the League. Many players offered their opinions, including Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy. And the Tour veteran Fred Couples couldn’t feel prouder about them.

As a veteran of the PGA Tour, the 62-year-old couldn’t be more proud of his fellow Tour players when they announced their loyalty to the Tour.
Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, and more have decided to stay on the PGA Tour!
Recently, many star golfers have expressed their loyalty to the Tour by rejecting the offers from the Saudi-backed Golf League. The GOAT of golf, Woods, had said that his legacy lies with the Tour, and he wouldn’t choose another league over PGA.

Rory McIlroy, too, opted the quality over money and took a stand to choose PGA over the League. Likewise, Collin Morikawa, Justin Thomas, Brooks Koepka, current world no.1 Jon Rahm, and many more had disclosed their decision to stay with the PGA.
While many opted to stay with the Tour, there were some who wanted to play for the Saudi-backed Golf League. Jason Kokrak had revealed that he had been talking with the League and is most likely to play in it since it offers more money. Kramer Hickok had disclosed that 17 players had already signed with the League.

As a follow-up to his first tweet, Fred expressed his gratefulness to the Tour through another tweet. He wrote, “Watching the @thegenesisinv makes me so so proud to call myself a member of the @pgatour. Since 1983 the tour has given me everything I have. So thankful.”

Fred Couples is a former world no. 1 American professional golfer. He had been playing for the PGA Tour since 1981. The veteran had won 15 championship titles, including a major; He won the Masters in 1992.
