Expressing his sympathy, Woods said, “It was sad.” Stating the similarity in every athlete, he said, “As athletes, we’ve all been there to that spot when you just know it, that something just went, and can’t move, can’t do much of anything.” He further added that every athlete has a sixth sense of their body. They know when something goes wrong and when it needs to rest a bit. The Major championship then went on to explain how Durant felt.
“You can see it on his face, how solemn his face went. He knows it when things pop. You just know.” As Woods has been through the same thing, he could feel it with the basketball player. The G.O.A.T. said, “And I’ve been there. I’ve had it to my own Achilles. I’ve had it to my own back. I know what it feels like. It’s an awful feeling. And no one can help you. That’s the hard part.” When Woods suffered a back injury, his daughter Sam thankfully saved him.
