Justin Thomas is one of the most talented players on the PGA Tour. The professional golfer has made tons of records on the field. However, other than golf, Thomas has been showing interest in Baseball recently. Moreover, he recently challenged a famous MLB player for a rematch after already being humbled by him back in March.

Justin Thomas’ viral MLB rematch tweet

The golf world has been seeing new surprises every day ever since the LIV Golf league was launched. However, these surprising situations are not only limited to golf, thanks to Justin Thomas. The golfer took things up a notch by challenging famous MLB player Max Scherzer for a baseball rematch!

The golfer earlier tried his hands on the sport in another challenge with the player back in March. However, it didn’t go very well for Thomas. And therefore, he recently tweeted about his wish to have a rematch with Scherzer. 

The tweet said, “This was the extent of my baseball career. My stats are 0-1 against Max Scherzer. Did this back in March and still one of the coolest things I’ve ever done. I think I missed his breaking ball by 2 feet. I want a rematch!!!!”

Justin Thomas made it to the headlines for doing something unique outside the sports world back in March. The golfer decided to play a baseball practice round with Max Scherzer two weeks before the Major League Baseball lockout ended. Thomas was all set to hit balls with the bat in his hands. But it wasn’t as easy as it looked to the golf star. And as it turned out, Thomas ended up missing all three pitches made by Scherzer.

Talking about his experience on the pitch, Thomas recalled telling his friends about the embarrassing incident. “I told my buddies whenever he pitched this year and had a great outing, ‘Dude, I totally understand where they’re coming from. He’s a hard guy to hit,’” Thomas even has a short video of his attempt to hit the balls in his phone. However, he hasn’t posted it on any of his social media platforms.

Thomas mentioned, trying to hit the first two balls by swinging the bat as fast as he could. But the third one turned out to be a breaking ball that got him to lunge!
