Lewis Hamilton joins Tiger Woods & Rory McIlroy in exciting venture

The 7-time F1 world champion is undoubtedly a star name that will line up alongside the golf duo for TMRW Sports. The firm’s social media handle kept everyone waiting with the names of investors on board. But a day before the full list was out, Hamilton was welcomed into the TMRW family.

Golf legend and 15-time Major Championship winner Tiger Woods was quick to praise the new inductee. “I’m excited to welcome a strong group of investors across sports and entertainment to @TMRWSports,” he tweeted, before welcoming Hamilton to the team.

The move was followed suit by current World No. 1 Rory McIlroy, who must be happy with another Brit joining the venture. While the 37-year-old Hamilton has received a knighthood on the back of his successful racing career, the Northern Irishman falls short but has been awarded an MBE for his achievements. But if McIlroy keeps on churning performances as he did in the victorious CJ Cup last week, a knighthood won’t be out of bounds.

What is TMRW Sports?

Launched in August this year, the tech-based company is focused on delivering a comprehensive yet futuristic approach to sports and entertainment. The company’s motto was enough to rope in Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy. The two trailblazers of the sport are the most recognized players and have the biggest fanbase in golf.
