What do pro golfers do off the greens to pass the time? PGA Tour legend Tiger Woods enjoys reading books and watching different sports. Brooks Koepka would perhaps say ‘party’ with a very Koepka like grin. But for a few of them out there, it’s the virtual world of gaming that draws them more than partying, reading, or watching other sports.

And their love for video games, one in particular, cuts across the LIV Golf-PGA Tour divide. Amidst the uncertain water that both the behemoths have been swimming in since June, two pro golfers from opposite sides of the spectrum have surprisingly found common ground in Fortnite.

Wesley Bryan is set to tee off at the Albany Golf Club in the Butterfield Bermuda Championship later this week. After appearing on the greens after a month, the obvious question was what the PGA Tour pro had been doing in the long break.

It turns out he was hooked on the $26 billion gaming giant, Fortnite. The golfer was candid in admitting his love for the shooting game. “OG Fortnite just dropped… I’ve (been) catching copious amounts of dubs with the boys,” confessed the 33-year-old golfer, drawing a chuckle from everyone in the room. The Chillean golfer was perhaps ready for his practice rounds. When asked what else he likes other than playing golf, the 25-year-old golfer admitted his love for cars and Fortnite. “I still play Fortnite during my off time. Two hours, no more than that.

Wesley Bryan was probably one of them. And although it wasn’t confirmed it is quite likely that Niemann was too!
