Although golf is the primary sport played on a golf course, one can get to see much more on the court. People, for a long time now, are discovering the strangest things surrounding the course. Yes, this might come to you as a shock, however, the greens’ staff and the nearby residents can witness more than just the match.

In reality, golf courses can attract a variety of wild animals. This is because they frequently provide open spaces, water features, and flora that can serve as attractive habitats for local species. There are real stories from superintendents regarding the same which we will uncover here shortly.

Supervisors often witness the craziest things on the green. This includes Warthogs rooting up the greens to Gophers gnawing through drainage pipes. This is not something new for the golf workers as the staff does share their part of the story.

In one of the videos on Golf.com, there are a bunch of stories wherein Superintendents have shared their scariest moments.

In the video, one staff member complained that one fine morning, he saw one meat cow stampeded across the green. Due to this, they had to face significant hurdles in getting Devot Fixer to fix it up all.

While another one shared that, according to other people, she seems to be an animal decomposition specialist. In reality, there is a Coyote den on their golf course and they do witness coyote and their dead bodies very frequently. People around often find dead body parts which is very horrible.

A similar incident took place in Las Vegas

As wild animals are coming into the picture, things are getting unusual and unsafe on the court. While there are people who don’t believe in it, there are real stories that can create real fear in oneself.

A similar incident took place the last week when the Highland Falls Course at Sun City Summerlin was in chaos. Superintendent Jake Scharmann witnessed a mangy canine and he quickly took to Twitter to share the video.

He captioned it as, “For those of you that don’t believe that coyotes chew rope out on the course… see below ”
