The most anticipated and not-to-miss player at the ISPS Handa Australian Open is the Chilean golfer, Joaquin Niemann. With a great history of wins, Niemann will be aiming to defend his title. With a great list of achievements, the golfer has already won 2 PGA Tours, 1 DP World Tour, 9 Chilean Open, and 2 LIV Golf Leagues. Additionally, he was the No.1 rated amateur in 2017-18. After joining LIV, the golfer has performed well, especially in 2024, with 2 wins, including Mayakoba and LIV Golf Jeddah. He is currently ranked no. 2 and it would be great to watch Niemann playing his favorite low fades at the Australian courses.
The Kingston Heath will definitely require all players, LIV or PGA to play their A-game to find fairways with the right shot and execution. The 7,259-yard course will hold a lot of stories to tell for both fans and players. The par 72 layout built on the sand belt is filled with bunkers, roughs, and trees to avoid. But with high risk comes good rewards as the winner will take home $382,500 prize money. Who do you think will win this year’s ISPS Handa Australian Open?
