The Galactus Event brought Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 4 to a perfect end. The BR also continued its success with virtual events, with over 15.3 million concurrent players attending the finale. This not only eclipsed the previous record that Travis Scott’s Astronomical had set, but also set a decorated pedestal for more events to come.

The event was an astounding success, but Twitch streamers had their share of minor issues. A newly released AC/DC song playing in the background triggered Twitch’s copyright detection system. This forced Twitch streamers to mute their clips for a brief period.

Despite all that, Epic Games drew a curtain on season 4 with the Fortnite world erupting because of a Blackhole, kicking off season 5 with a bang.

Epic Games has dubbed Chapter 2 Season 5 as ‘Zero Point’ and it involves a series of humongous changes. The new season involves bounty hunters from distinct realities who join hands to fight against the ‘Loop’.

Fortnite is going to witness several franchise entries in the coming future

The players were already aware of the presence of the first hunter of the new season, The Mandalorian, who will serve as the first hunter in the game.

He gets an entry in the game owing to Epic’s symbiotic relationship with Disney+. Fortnite’s relationship with licensed entries has brought the players ever closer to entities like Star Wars and The Avengers. But there’s more to come that’s going to knock your socks off!

This raises one very important question, though. Will Kratos’ skin by exclusive for PlayStation players just like God of War? Considering how Fortnite handles crossplay, it is possible that the Kratos will be available on other platforms too.
