Ghost of Tsushima, developed by Sucker Punch Productions, is one of the best PlayStation exclusives out there. The open-world game follows a samurai on a quest to protect Tsushima island during the first Mongol invasion of Japan. With the latest 1.1 version, players will get a major free update for Ghost of Tsushima Legends.

Sucker Punch productions recently tweeted about the new 1.1 free update which releases on October 16. The confirmed time for the update is 8:00 AM Pacific Time, and the developers expect the update to be available worldwide by 9:00 AM Pacific Time.

After installing the 1.1 version, players can either speak to Gyozen, or select Legends from the menu to access the new co-op mode. They can download a free unlock from PlayStation store and play the game online.
Once version 1.1 is installed, if you speak to Gyozen or select Legends from the menu, you'll be redirected to the PlayStation Store to download a free unlock in order to play online.

“Legends” will be separate from the single-player campaign in the game
The new update introduces a multiplayer co-op mode in which players can choose from four available categories: Samurai, Hunter, Ronin and Assassin. All the available categories have their unique characteristics. The fans will have a hard time choosing when they will take on new missions based on Japanese Mythology.

Ghost of Tsushima will run at 60 FPS on the PlayStation 5
PlayStation has confirmed that almost 99% of the PS4 library will be playable on the PS5.
