Moreover, there are a lot of characters varying from different elements and weapon types. However, miHoYo hasn’t released any Dendro element in the game since its launch. Therefore, many users are losing their patience to see the first Dendro user. However, there are some rumors that developers are secretly working on Dendro element reactions other than burning.

Dendro reactions coming to Genshin Impact

According to some rumors, miHoYo might be working on two Dendro reactions secretly. These are Overgrown and Overdose elemental reactions. Since elemental reactions are very important in the game, it’s natural that developers must be planning to work on Dendro elemental reactions and its damage before working on a Dendro character.

Furthermore, some expect that the Dendro element will favor Electro characters, as Electro reactions don’t deal significant damage as compared to other reactions. Therefore, it would be a wise idea to provide great buffs to characters by introducing a new element.

New Weapon coming to the game

In the game, every character falls under different types of weapons. There are currently five types of weapons that are Claymore, Polearm, Sword, Catalyst, and Bow. Thus, it’s harder for free-to-play players to invest in both five-star characters and their signature weapons. Naturally, miHoYo also lets players choose free craftable weapons of each type.

Interestingly, there are some rumors that developers might be developing a new weapon type for upcoming characters. Among all in-game weapons, none of them can work for long and short-range at the same time. Thus, players are anticipating a new weapon type, which will work for both ranges. Some of them even expect the new weapon type to be Chakram or Crossbow.
