Ever since its release, Genshin Impact has introduced new characters with every update. Including the Traveler, there are 30 playable characters in the game at the moment.
Based on their elements, weapons, and of course, rarity, some characters overshadow others. This is a great incentive for players to spend money on the gacha system and later boast about their collection of five-star characters and items.
Having said that, building characters in Genshin Impact is a largely flexible and interesting process. With the right artifacts and weapons, almost every character in miHoYo‘s action RPG can turn out to be a valuable asset.

Xinyan is the most unique character in Genshin Impact
Xinyan arrived in Genshin Impact with Zhongli and Childe. Naturally, a lot of players neglected her, and only focused on unlocking the five-star consultant for the Wangsheng funeral parlor and the Harbinger of the Fatui.

Xinyan has a unique play style that comprises the Pyro element, physical damage, and a shield. Even though adapting to her abilities seems like an arduous task, Xinyan’s damage output certainly compensates for it. As a result, the Rock ‘n’ Roll performer is very efficient in Spiral Abyss floors that have Pyro enemies.
Prominent YouTuber Gacha Gamer talked about Xinyan’s underrated play style in a recent video.
Sucrose is much more than just Venti’s substitute
Considering that Sucrose has been a part of the limited banner three times, a majority of players have already unlocked some of her constellations. Regardless, the character is rarely used in the game.
Even though Sucrose might not match Venti’s abilities to group enemies, she is exceptionally good if used in reaction teams. When put together with characters like Chongyun, Xiangling and Bennet, the alchemist provides significant Elemental Mastery, leading to increased reaction damage.

Kaeya, Amber and Lisa are the starter characters in Genshin Impact, and can be unlocked for free. Players usually consider them weak and replace them with other gacha characters as soon as possible. It is worth noting that starters like Kaeya have never been featured in limited-banners and unlocking their constellations is one of the hardest tasks in Genshin Impact.
Kaeya can easily fulfill the role of a support character or a main DPS. He belongs to the Cryo element, and triggering reactions like Melt, Freeze, and Superconduct are his mastery. The Cavalry Captain is a sword user and deals damage faster than many other prominent characters.
