Genshin Impact released in September 2020 and has already generated over $1 billion in mobile revenue. The title has also been successful on other platforms like the PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC, and will soon release on the new-gen PS5.
Having said that, the action RPG has been going through a rough patch lately. Even though a plethora of new players are starting their journey every day, the veterans have heavily complained about the lack of new content like end-game challenges and combat mechanics.
From the looks of it, the upcoming 1.5 update for Genshin Impact will change this narrative, thanks to the two new characters and the housing system that will come with it.

Another highly anticipated event in Genshin Impact since the beginning has been the release of Inazuma. It is one of the seven regions in Teyvat, and will most probably arrive around the one-year anniversary.
Prominent creator Sekapoko believes Inazuma will bring tremendous changes to the way things work in Genshin Impact:
The most popular five-star characters in Genshin Impact might become a part of the standard banner
With the 1.4 update, we witnessed the re-release banners of Childe and Venti. Similarly, the upcoming 1.5 update will also have a re-run banner for the Geo Archon, Zhongli. It is worth noting that all these characters have returned to Genshin Impact after six months of their original release.

Over the years, Sekapoko has played a ton of gacha games and is well aware of the strategies used by the developers. He feels miHoYo might not feature popular characters on limited-time banners yet again. Instead, it might include them in the standard banner, that offers a much lower chance of giving players their desired items.

Currently, a lot of players ignore the standard banners and save their primogems for the limited-time banners. Naturally, this can be a great incentive for them to finally pull the standard banner. This is a very common practice in the gacha game industry, where the developers rely on the re-release of old characters to motivate players for investing their money.
Accordingly, Sekapoko has advised his viewers to save their Acquaint Faint. It seems like this will be the only viable way to unlock legacy five-stars like Venti, Zhongli, and Childe.

Earlier, Sekapoko had also talked about the possibility of miHoYo resetting player progress with Inazuma. All in all, it is safe to assume that the developer will leave no stone untuned to satisfy the hype surrounding the release of the new region.
