Same as with the previous Uniqlo outfits that Federer has donned in earlier events, the new set has been crafted by noted designer Christophe Lemaire, who founded Uniqlo U.

The 20-time Grand Slam champion also happens to be the global brand ambassador of the renowned Japanese outfitter.

The brand new set of tennis wear for the champion is complete with a signature headband embossed with the Uniqlo label, caps bearing his trademark initials ‘RF’, wristbands and socks.

The outfits, which have been designed for the clay court swing, will also be sported by the champion at the French Open.

The eight-time Wimbledon champion has been seen in the red jacket that he will pair with his shirt, as well as the blue shorts at practice sessions.

Federer has already given fans a peek into his new outfits

Usually, the brand teases its newly designed outfits online before they hit the commercial space. However, this time, Federer had already given his fans a peek into the outfits that he would sport during the tournament.

The colors of the outfits as teased by Uniqlo ahead of Federer’s Geneva opener against Spaniard Pablo Andujar appear the same or close to the same as the ones that the champion has sported in practice.

It’s understood that the new set of outfits will be made available for online sales from this month itself.

The apparels will have surely piqued the interest of buyers, especially Federer fans, and it’s likely they will sell out in no time once they hit the brand’s online commercial space.
