Rockstar Games could face legal action following the release of the GTA 6 trailer. One of the mind blowing details in the record breaking trailer was the remaking of some real life moments in the game. However, one of the moments recreated in the trailer has invited controversy. The Florida Joker has called out Rockstar Games and demanded a compensation of 2 million from the Grand Theft Auto developers.

The hardcore fans of the action-fest franchise know Rockstar Games’ obsession with creating spoofs. Remember the witty digs they took at brands and social media apps in GTA V? Well, these rip-offs surely are returning to GTA 6 as promised by the trailer. For instance, there was an alligator in the pool, a woman twerking atop a moving car, a police offer chasing a naked man and so on. Another such moment was the infamous Florida Joker, who has now raised his voice through the web and seems to have taken the internet by storm.

Florida Joker has a strong message for the developers of GTA 6!

One of the frames in the trailer was of a convict in a prison uniform on the news. And this specific frame is the reason Florida Joker is bringing all the heat to the developers. Apparently, the character featured in the frame is inspired by his personality. Lawrence Sullivan, popularly known as the Florida Joker, made striking claims against the devs as he reacted to the GTA 6 trailer. Through his initial reaction, the latter stated, GTA we gotta talk.”

Now, in a follow-up statement, the individual addressed the issue again. In a recent TikTok upload, Sullivan pointed out a YouTube thumbnail comparing the attributes of his appearance to the GTA 6 frame. –

Everybody saying that I’m not the Joker from GTA 6. That’s me, the person they got the inspiration from. That’s me. We gotta talk GTA. You gotta give me a million or two. Florida Joker ain’t having that. You’ll took my likeness you’ll took my life,” Sullivan ranted in the upload.

It is not known if Rockstar Games genuinely based the persona in the trailer on the Florida Joker, despite the fact that there are some parallels between the two, most notably the facial tattoos. The Florida Joker’s assertions don’t seem to be supported by many in the gaming world, either.

It will be interesting to see how the developers react to the allegation if they do! However, the claim made by Florida Joker has certainly given an interesting angle to discuss the community on the epic.
