Will Elon Musk’s X Pass MrBeast’s Revenue Test?

A lot of interesting things are always happening in the lives of the rich and famous. MrBeast and Elon Musk are two prime examples of that. Be it Musk’s Twitter buyout, or the fan-declared king of YouTube on his quest to becoming the #1 subscribed channel on YouTube. But what’s more interesting is what has been cooking between the two on X.

Elon and MrBeast connected on Twitter when MrBeast asked Musk for Twitter if he passed away. Ever since then, the two have been in touch through comments. Elon once even pitched the idea of the YouTuber uploading videos to X, which the creator shut down. But after further discussion, it looks like MrBeast has put Elon’s X to the test.

Will posting on X be worth MrBeast’s time?

After MrBeast rejected Elon Musk’s proposal to post content on X, the platform owner decided to step up the rewards for creators. This led to Donaldson putting up his first video on the platform to see if the revenue would be worth it for him. The YouTuber uploaded his $1 Car vs $100,000,000 Car video to X and stated, “I’m curious how much ad revenue a video on X would make so I’m reuploading this to test it. “

As MrBeast uploaded his first video on X, Elon Musk reshared it. The post shared by both of them received over 25 million views each with the original post crossing 41.9 million views. The video that MrBeast uploaded to X has always been on YouTube and today it stands at a staggering 221 million views.

In May 2023, Elon Musk made a post on his platform stating, “If I die under mysterious circumstances, it’s been nice knowing ya,” and to this, MrBeast replied, “If that happens can I have Twitter?” Elon’s final response to the post shocked the world when he said OK. This marked the beginning of the line of contact between the two on X. MrBeast to this day has a screenshot of the conversation pinned on his page on X.

And now that MrBeast actually uploaded one of his videos on X, fans have been quick to speculate if he will profit from it.

In response to Elon Musk’s repost, one user suggested that MrBeast, “a millionaire after his first ad revenue check.”

This user joked that MrBeast would make only $300 by posting this video.

Following Musk’s takeover of Twitter, one can expect many drastic changes. There was talks of video game streaming with Musk being a fan of Diablo 4. Now he’s looking to get creators to post on X. With MrBeast giving it a shot, this user believes, “X IS THE FUTURE.”

This fan stated that they didn’t see any ads on the video, hinting towards it being demonetized.

Meanwhile, this user supports the idea and praised X for this “huge milestone,” getting not just any YouTuber but the biggest individual YouTuber to post a video directly on X.
