Media outlet and trusted insider account for all things COD- CharlieIntel recently took to the social media platform X. While dropping a post on Verdansk, the website claimed the iconic map is returning to Warzone in 2024. On top of that, the account also wrote that Verdansk will be part of Treyarch’s highly anticipated next Black Ops game. According to strong rumors, it’s called Black Ops Gulf War.

Interestingly, CharlieIntel’s update was based on another report from a different insider. Going by the actual rumor connected to Verdansk, it seems like the map will be introduced back to the Call of Duty franchise with a Seasonal content-based approach for Black Ops Gulf War.

The devs are reportedly planning to follow the Warzone ‘main map’ release schedule. Hence, they might reveal Verdansk with the Season 1 update for Treyarch’s Black Ops Gulf War. As for the release date itself, nothing has been confirmed at the moment. Still, if one has to assume, the devs will probably bring back Verdansk around December in 2024, after the launch of the new COD premium.
