Fortnite, unlike any battle royale seen in the past, comes with an intense storyline that spans various chapters. These stories often come with some unanswered questions. In Fortnite, there are many mysteries that Epic Games keeps introducing to the game. But not all are solved.
While we got a lot of story reveals from the recent Big Bang event and the Chapter 5 trailer, Epic has left out some crucial details to keep the fans wondering. From Time Machines getting lost to Fortnite’s rumored collab with Greek Mythology, here are the top 10 unresolved mysteries in Fortnite.
1) Peely’s Kidnapping

This mystery might be solved in Chapter 5 as players dive in to save the beloved character.
2) Agent Jones’ mission
Ever since Season 1, Agent Jones has been on multiple missions to maintain order in the Fortnite universe. This has led him to travel through different times in the lore and influence the events that build up the main story of the game. The main mystery is why Agent Jones puts together the UnderGround task force.
3) The Big Bang event
During the Big Bang event, players witnessed an unseen reality that appeared strange with space pods, giant cranes, and scientific buildings. The nature and significance of this reality, as well as its connection to the broader Fortnite storyline, remain mysterious. Players suggest that players got a peak at Reality 659 while experiencing the Big Bang.
4) Time Machine
We know that Agent Jones has been using the Time Machine in the game to travel across the events we experience. Players could travel through time due to the existence of the zero point. In the Big Bang event, players got to see the time machine being strapped to a rocket as it took off.
Once the Rocket reached an altitude, players got to see the Time Machine transform into multiple objects before launching itself into the rift and creating the Big Bang. However, after the Big Bang, there were no signs of the location of the Time Machine and this detail remains a mystery.
5) The Absence of The Seven
The absence of The Seven, a group introduced in earlier seasons, is noted. They started the Battle Royale story in season 3, but from the start of season 4, they’ve all been missing. The team comprised of The Foundation, The Scientist, The Visitor, The Origin, The Paradigm, The Order and The Imagined.
6) Kado Thorne Artifacts and the Strange Calendar
In Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 4 players got to see Kado Thorne return to the island with three magical artifacts. This included Oro’s skull, Midas’ severed hand, and an ancient stone calendar.

The symbols on the stone calendar are connected to the Seven as players can see a symbol for each of them. So far, there have been no further details on this calendar and fans speculate that this might mean the return of the seven.
7) Unexplained Files and Changes in Chapter 4
Leaked files related to molten rock and lava in Mega City hinted at a volcanic eruption that did not occur. Chapter 4 is said to have undergone last-minute changes, with evidence from concept art showing initial plans for sea monsters, dragons, and a Kraken in Mega City.
8) Mystery Island
In Chapter 5, players can see a new island off the coast. The island has a lot of artifacts from Chapter 2 and players will see many references from the Midas era of Fortnite. This has led fans to believe that the Midas era could make a return in the near future.
9) Greek Mythology
There are many speculations of Epic Games introducing characters from Greek Mythology into Fortnite. This stems from the fact that Chapter 5 Season 2 is codenamed “Aiga” which means “Goat” in Greek. The leak was shared by known Fortnite leaker, Hypex.

Players have also spotted many Greek-themed outfits in the recent Fortnite survey. Considering this, many fans are wondering what the connection between Greek Mythology and Fortnite is.
10) Reality Warriors
The first version of the IO is shown in Chapter 4 of Fortnite. Along with this, fans found details about the mysterious Reality Warriors on the Fortnite blog, but no further details about the same have been shared ever since. So far, we just know that the Reality Warriors were showcased alongside the Oathbound but were not further explored.

Fortnite has many mysteries that are not yet solved starting from the first season. Epic works hard on building a narrative around a battle Royale game and this leads to many mysteries that keep fans wondering.
