The GTA 6 trailer blew the entire gaming industry away in an instant. It became the most-watched YouTube video in 24 hours, breaking MrBeast’s record. While the trailer did not give out too much information on what fans can expect from the game, it showcased how visually stunning the game will look. GTA 6 is coming out in 2025 and the wait is pushing fans to get creative with other titles that Rockstar Games has created.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is Rockstar Games’ latest game which was released back in 2018. The game was a graphical marvel and the visuals still hold up today. While waiting for GTA 6 to make its mark, one fan launched RDR2 to recreate the GTA 6 trailer, and the community couldn’t help but be in awe of the creation.

The tweet stated that there have been quite a few iterations of RDR2 trailers in GTA 6 style, but, “This is by far the best recreation.” It is surprising to see how close the RDR2 trailer is to the original one. Each frame showcases similar incidents as seen in the GTA 6 trailer. RDR2 looks like a good base to make the trailer as the graphics still hold up in 2024.
The video focused on Arthur instead of Lucia and took fans through the beautiful lands where Red Dead Redemption 2 is based. The recreated trailer showcased the Wild West version of everything we see in the GTA 6 trailer.
