This MWII Meta Shotgun Is a Deadly Beast Against Boss Zombies in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3!

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Zombies has been a fan-favorite mode ever since it was first revealed earlier this month. While most of the players are having fun in this open-world, extraction-based experience, a lot of them are still finding it difficult. That’s because of the abundance of some of the most threatening bosses found across the map of Urzikstan inside MWZ.

But there’s no need to worry anymore. Especially, for those players who are struggling to defeat Elite zombies in Modern Warfare 3. Not many of them are aware that there’s actually a method by which they can accomplish the objective. Interestingly, the solution happens to be connected with MW3’s predecessor, Modern Warfare II – a shotgun. But it’s not an ordinary shotgun at all.

Use the Broken Meta shotgun to take down Elite Zombies

For those who don’t have an idea, Modern Warfare II’s Season 6 was revealed in September 2023. Being the last seasonal update, it ended up unleashing tons of surprises for the players. There was a secret attachment as well that eventually boosted the strength of a popular shotgun called the Dual-shot Lockwood 300.

In MWII, the Lockwood 300 is unlocked by reaching level 36. After applying the secret attachment, which was the Maelstorm Dual Trigger, it changed this shotgun into a dual-shot weapon. In other words, the Dual Trigger pushed it under the Meta category while also converting it into a Broken Shotgun. Currently, it’s got an increased and very high damage value compared to any other shotgun.

Now, it seems like this shotgun can also prove to be an effective killing machine against boss zombies in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. At least that’s what a random YouTuber and COD player has tried to show in a recent video. The YouTuber, whose channel name is The Spazo, revealed in his video that the Lockwood 300 is actually a deadly beast against bosses like Mega Abomination in Modern Warfare Zombies.

Spazo said that while there are many shotguns in MW3, they are not at all worthy of use in the zombie mode. However, the Lockwood 300 from MWII is the one to go with before making an infiltration into the map of Urzikstan. Per the YouTuber, this weapon can kill most of the zombies in one shot, even with a three-plate vest.

Of course, it will be important for players to further upgrade this broken Meta shotgun by using Pack-a-Punch options. That way, its rarity will reach the legendary level. The latter is a must-have while entering the high-threat zone filled with boss zombies.

As seen in the video above, the YouTuber was able to shred the Mega Abomination within minutes by just using the Lockwood 300. It looks like more COD players will now try to keep it in their loadouts.
