These Two Zombies Launch Maps From Treyarch’s Call of Duty 2024 Have Been Leaked Early

Call of Duty 2024 is on the wish list of many fans this year. Although Activision hasn’t revealed an official update on the project, industry insiders have claimed it will be the next Black Ops installment by Treyarch Studios. Also, it might be called the ‘Gulf War’ – taking place after the events of 2020’s Black Ops Cold War. Recently, a major update was revealed, giving early details regarding the awaited installment of Zombies.

Black Ops and Zombies are inseparable. It’s been the case for more than a decade now. Treyarch’s iconic game mode has been present in all of its games ever since World at War launched, back in 2008. Speaking of the studio’s new title, it’s confirmed to bring back the fan-favorite, round-based Zombies experience.

TheGamingRevolution channel on YouTube is quite popular when it comes to sharing early updates on everything COD. More specifically, the YouTuber and pro player running this channel also tend to drop news based on Zombies. For the uninitiated, he shared a video a few weeks ago, in December 2023.

In the video, TheGamingRevolution talked about all kinds of rumors surrounding Zombies in Treyarch’s rumored Call of Duty 2024, aka, Black Ops Gulf War. While going through convincing leaks, he mentioned two maps that many insiders have predicted to be part of the game’s launch.

Talking about the first launch map for Zombies in Call of Duty 2024, it’s codenamed ‘Garnet‘. Going by the leaked intel, it’s supposed to be set in a city, featuring a bank, church, and police tape. Plus, it’s expected to have vertical gameplay elements, similar to Mauer der Toten in Black Ops Cold War. This means players will be able to traverse using ziplines on tall buildings. Oh, and there will be interactive machines for them to utilize during the gameplay. All in all, the map is said to have a setting inspired by ‘West Virginia’.

The second launch map leaked for COD Black Ops Gulf War Zombies is codenamed ‘Quartz’. This one’s expected to be located on an island with a ship, featuring a Deck Cannon trap that can be activated. It will also likely have an elevator that will take players to an underground prison and lab. According to many insiders, the map’s actual name could be ‘Terminus Island’ itself.

Speaking more about Black Ops Gulf War, the title started trending last year when a reputed scooper dropped cryptic footage on social media. It video consisted of footage showcasing action from land to aerial combat, referencing the Gulf War from 1991.
