Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Zombies has been a popular mode so far. It’s not hidden from players that a lot of its design is inspired by DMZ mode – an extraction-based experience seen in Modern Warfare II. It looks like the devs are planning to make Zombies more similar to DMZ going forward by adding its features to MWZ with a future update.
Modern Warfare Zombies combine elements from Black Ops Zombies and DMZ, to ultimately offer a fun mode. There are already many engaging options available in the open-world title such as Pack-a-Punch machines, Perk-a-Colas, Reward Rifts, Schematic crafting, and whatnot. However, the overall experience is going to improve even further with the introduction of two rumored features from DMZ.

As of now, the release date for Essence Wallet and Exfil Streaks is not specified. For the uninitiated, the two have been a crucial part of the demilitarized zone during the life cycle of Modern Warfare II.
Talking about Wallet, it was originally introduced in DMZ with Season 4 of MWII in 2023. The innovative feature changed the way players used to enjoy the extraction-based mode. In simple words, Wallet acted as the financial system that enabled players to exfil with cash that they could store outside of the match to use in future games. To be precise, it was like an in-game bank account.

Before making infiltration in DMZ matches, players had the choice to use their stored cash to utilize items in their inventory. Also, they could spend the cash on finishing missions and other objectives. In terms of Modern Warfare Zombies, the returning feature will be called Essence Wallet simply because the currency in Zombies mode of Call of Duty is known as Essence.
Then comes the second rumored feature of Exfil Streaks. It was also part of DMZ mode and enabled the players to have a bonus perk available to them whenever they used to exfil successfully. Simply put, their exfil streak used to increase by one each time. Doing so consistently would allow them to have a random perk. The latter acts like a modifier that can provide a boost in several aspects like increasing weapon reload speed or offering silent footsteps.
