It hasn’t been a great start to 2024 for the Valorant community. A fan-favorite streamer, ShahZam, met with an unfortunate accident! While he had previously made some headlines for his rift with Sentinels, the latest updates have the FPS community all worried and anxious. Following the reports of a horrifying accident, fans had been praying to get some update. The Valorant Pro then released a statement following the accident.

ShahZam aka Shahzeb Khan, who currently plays for G2 eSports, is considered as one of the best Valorant players. The former CS: GO champ is also highly celebrated for his fun-loving personality and wit. The player had been enjoying quite some limelight lately with his popular Twitch streams. However, it looks like we won’t be getting the ShahZam streams anytime soon now. Here’s what ShahZam had to say about the accident.

The G2 superstar took to his official X account to share a much-awaited health update after the haunting accident. As per the tweet post, the accident was caused when a car took an illegal turn, resulting in a collision with his car. Took delivery of my new car yesterday and got into an bad accident this morning. Someone made an illegal turn right into me. Thankfully I think I’m okay. Super unlucky but it could have been worse. Prob going to rest today so no stream, sorry guys,” the Valorant streamer wrote in the post. 

The eSports community is no stranger to ShahZam’s love for automobiles and speed. Quite possibly, competing for his admiration for automobiles with xQc! But unfortunately, the recent incident would certainly raise some safety concerns for the streamer and his passion. 

Although the player confirmed being fine post the collision, he confirmed he would be needing to rest for the day. So, it’s a strong possibility he may have sustained some injuries.

Netizens expressed gratitude as ShahZam escaped the unfortunate accident, stating his safety is “all that matters.”
