Developers are the hearts of video games and there’s no denying this fact. Without them, there won’t be an experience that immerses gamers in a virtual world for hours. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, from Rocksteady Studios, is going to be one such title involving a team of passionate individuals who put their best efforts into delivering a promising game. Unfortunately, it’s been revealed that the studio lost a crucial member during the development phase. This was recently mentioned by the late developer’s sibling, who had shared an emotional message while talking about a special tribute gamers will witness inside the game after its release next month.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League to honor Senior AI Programmer with an in-game tribute who passed away
Matthew White, who was part of Rocksteady Studios, worked on Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League as a Senior AI Programmer. In August earlier this year, he had passed away at the age of 40. The news was shared by her sister in a recent Reddit post. “I miss him so much, and so do my parents”, she wrote. She also revealed that he was highly passionate about Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. “He put his heart and soul into his work in the games industry and it’s the stress, in my opinion, that killed him. I hope all the games he worked on will be part of his legacy.”

In the emotional post, Matthew’s sister also informed about a memorial that will be featured in Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice. Located in the City square, it will be a gesture of giving tribute, from Rocksteady Studios to the late developer. “I’ve seen this and I was part of the approval for the memorial”, wrote the sister on Reddit.
She expressed how sad she’s feeling now to see that her brother will not be there “to see this game to the end. But he had many other games out there that he worked on in his 16 year career. He was extremely smart and talented at what he did. He cared much more than most about his work, which is why we are in this situation now.”
