Half-Life fans have been left hanging for the third installment for two decades now. Although Valve released the VR experience Half-Life: Alyx, it didn’t give the community exactly what they wanted. While it might seem like Valve has abandoned the idea of Half-life 3, fans have been using the source engine to recreate other classic games on the platform.
One fan of Resident Evil 2, took it upon themselves to remake the game using the source engine. The mod was created in 2018 with a few updates to it over the years, but recently its resurfacing on Twitter has most of the community hooked.
