Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Zombies mode has entertained a lot of players so far. Since its global debut last month, many fans have been spending more time in the open-world map of Urzikstan than on Multiplayer and even Warzone. As a result, some of the users have come across weird moments while getting completely shocked.

Before the launch of Modern Warfare Zombies, the devs had made one thing very clear. It wasn’t going to have the aspect of PvP (player versus player) at all. Compared to other modes like Battle Royale and last year’s extraction-based DMZ, this was quite surprising for the players. But the way this change has turned out is quite impressive, until recently. Seems like the PvP system does exist in Modern Warfare Zombies!

Players can never have any control over the bugs and glitches in COD titles. While some of them are mostly game-breaking or annoying, others do end up making users roll their eyes. A similar situation occurred recently when a player witnessed the PvP lobby inside Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Zombies mode.

A Redditor dropped a gameplay video from their session of MWZ. Going by the title of their post, they ended up in a bugged lobby with PvP enabled. It happened even though only the option of PvE (player versus environment) was activated.

The clip showed that Reddit user WilsonatorYT was able to shoot another player who was another player driving a car on the map of Urzikstan. To WilsonatorYT’s relief, the option of reviving was also there. Hence, they used it to save the life of the opponent they shot.

Coming back to the bug, however, it’s still unclear how it appeared in the first place. While there’s no proper explanation, it might be due to an earlier build of Modern Warfare Zombies having PvP. But this is just a speculation for now and one should take it with a grain of salt. Additionally, the bug could be a result of some sort of code resurfacing from DMZ. Given the fact that Z functions slightly similarly to last year’s mode, it can also be a possibility.

All things considered, there haven’t been a lot of such instances of players witnessing PvP lobbies. Thus, it’s important for devs at Treyarch to address this issue sooner than later. Undoubtedly, the community will call for a fix in the next few days in case more users come across this glitch.
