The record breaking GTA 6 trailer shattered MrBeast’s viewership record. But fans believe the tables will turn. The GTA 6 trailer took the internet world by storm. But it wasn’t surprising. Being arguably the most anticipated teaser in the history of gaming, it was bound to make waves. Among all the records Rockstar Games broke, one belonged to YouTube’s very own superstar MrBeast. So putting aside the excitement surrounding the trailer, there may have been a section of the community that would’ve preferred the YouTuber’s record was preserved.  And though that wasn’t the case, fans believe this time MrBeast will break the record, surpassing Rockstar Games.

From crossing 200 million subscribers to implementing the wildest of stunts with perfection, MrBeast has had an epic year. With every new upload, the creator also moves closer to dethroning T-Series as the biggest YouTube channel. However, Rockstar Games released the first GTA 6 trailer, and just like that, the GTA trailer smashed MrBeast’s record for most views in 24 hours for a non-music video. So where does Mrbeast go from here? How can he reclaim the record?

The most viewed YouTube video (non-music) record that now belongs to the Grand Theft Auto trailer has set some new standards of excellence. The trailer clocked around 91 million views in a span of 24 hours. These numbers are almost 48% higher than the previous record held by the YouTube King.

The fact that the GTA 6 trailer took just 8 hours to surpass the YouTuber’s numbers speaks to the hype built around the trailer. Now for Jimmy to beat the figures, he will have to make a video that grand, which is saying something, considering the videos he usually makes.

Considering the buzz that the trailer launch announcement had made for the developers, beating these numbers seems like a long shot. And let’s not forget, the trailer relieved fans of 10 years worth of anticipation. But if anyone has the potential to ever come close to the figures, it has to be MrBeast. In fact, the community is confident in the creator beating the record soon.

Fans make their projections

While some feel the record is an impossible mountain to climb, some believe it’s happening soon. It’s also worth remembering that MrBeast has teased a strong lineup of uploads planned in the coming days. Could it be enough?
