Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 finally received its highly awaited Season 1 Reloaded update. However, it didn’t exactly kick off as planned. MW3 might have done well in terms of sales, but the game still received a mix reception. While many took issue to the campaign length, there were instances of bugs as well. Now the seaosn 1 reloaded was supposed to be a big step up for players. However, it turned out to be nothing less than a disaster. Especially for Warzone players who got stuck in the game because of the bugs. The battle royale experience became unplayable after the mid-season update’s installation.

Thankfully, devs at Raven Software didn’t waste too much time in fixing the situation. Following constant reports and complaints from fans and numerous pro players, the developing studio came forward and promised to resolve the issues. Within 24 hours of Season 1 Reloaded’s arrival, Warzone seems to have been fixed now.

Call of Duty players can now ‘play’ Warzone as intended

On social media platform X, the official COD Updates account shared a new post. It mentioned that the devs have “deployed fixes to resolve some of the issues resulting from the Season 1 Reloaded update.”

The major issue that caused players to get stuck in a bugged state when interacting with loadout crates in-game has been resolved. Next up was the problem of players witnessing “Fetching Online Profile” error when trying to get into the game menu. This issue too has been fixed as well.

This quick response and solution is life-saving for Warzone players. Many of them weren’t expecting the situation to get addressed so early. But it’s good to see that devs decided to work on the problem within hours.

Speaking of other modes like Multiplayer and Modern Warfare Zombies, they are mostly okay as far as major bugs and glitches are concerned. It appears the main issue was only regarding Warzone. But it’s not the first time the battle royale title has got into trouble after a huge update.

When players encountered a similar issue in 2021

Back in 2021, during the original Warzone’s run under Black Ops Cold War, players were furious for multiple reasons. After Season 2 Reloaded made its way, many users were upset to see its size that went over 100GB. Further, they also faced many bugs too. The invisible glitch made its return alongside the Stim glitch.

There was another controversial update in Season 1 Reloaded that released for Warzone 2 under Modern Warfare II in December 2022. It made players frustrated because of the lack of optimization tweaks that were needed for a better gameplay experience. Furthermore, the devs didn’t fix the plate armor vest issues, thus making hardcore fans even more disappointed.

With Season 1 Reloaded now active for the latest iteration of Warzone, players will hope they don’t get upcoming updates in a state as bad as the one they have installed right now on their systems.
