The first-ever GTA 6 trailer is finally here, and fans got much more than they had hoped for. While details on the game itself remain sparse, the visuals are something else. GTA 6 might just be the best-looking game on current-gen consoles already. The trailer looks like nothing gamers have seen this generation. But it looks like both Rockstar Games and Sony are planning something even better.

Rumors for Sony’s PlayStation 5 Pro have been making the rounds all over the internet for a while now. The console was supposed to be revealed in 2023 itself, but it looks like the reason for its delay is none other than GTA 6!

The Sony PlayStation 5 is an insanely powerful piece of hardware. The console really has some really powerful components under its hood. It only makes sense that the recently revealed trailer for Rockstar Games’ GTA 6 looks so good. The game seems to be pushing that hardware pretty far. But it looks like both Rockstar Games and Sony have much more to show their fans yet.

A recent rumor has suggested that the long-rumored PlayStation 5 Pro will be revealed during a special event next year. During the same event, Sony would announce its partnership with Rockstar Games. This means GTA VI would be one of the first games to launch with “Enhanced for PS5PRO” written on its box. The rumor also suggests that the game would feature 4K visuals at 60FPS. This is huge if it ever happens.

Fans would have to wait for any official announcements on this new console, though. This is just a rumor, and rumors should always be taken with a grain of salt.

The game already looks too heavy to run!

GTA 6 is already looking like one heck of a game to run. A recent Digital Foundry video has revealed that the game might feature ray tracing in the trailer itself. Over that, hair simulation and 4K resolution visuals were also hinted at. While it is pretty clear that the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X would have a hard time running this game at 4K. Maybe they are using FSR image reconstruction?

Whatever Rockstar Games is doing, it shows that they really took advantage of the 10 years they spent making this title. The game looks miles better than their previous game Red Dead Redemption 2. And that game in itself is considered to be one of the best open-world games ever launched.
