Lucia’s Story in GTA 6 May Have Been Decoded Already, Thanks to This Wild Theory!

Rockstar’s GTA 6 trailer has become the talking point for everyone on the internet right now. Since its official reveal, fans have been busy extracting every single detail. Thanks to some curious players who are eager to know the story, one major and possibly convincing theory has now surfaced in relation to the game’s female protagonist, Lucia.

Many GTA enthusiasts currently have no clue about the character arcs, especially when it comes to Lucia. Apart from being the first female lead in any game in the open-world series, there’s hardly anything else known about her. But now, it looks like a few beans have been spilled already, thanks to the efforts of multiple theory-makers on social media.

Popular social media page Culture Crave on X (formerly Twitter) keeps sharing interesting updates related to different entertainment mediums, including video games. Recently, the account dropped a post regarding a fan theory doing the rounds on the internet. According to it, the trailer has already confirmed the real story arc of Lucia, but in a twisted style.

As per the fan theory, the GTA 6 trailer has reportedly revealed Lucia’s story in the game in reverse order. Basically, the events taking place at the beginning of the trailer are from the ending, while the ones shown towards the end of the clip will happen in the opening hours.

For example, there’s a scene between Lucia and Jason towards the trailer’s conclusion where Lucia asks Jason to trust her. He replies by saying, “Trust.” Then, the two would go on a crime-filled path while robbing banks and committing other crimes to survive. But according to the fan theory, Jason will betray her, breaking the trust, as some rumors suggest he’s actually an undercover cop.

As a result, Lucia ends up in prison, as seen in the opening scene from the trailer, where she says, “Bad luck. I guess” when asked “Do you know why you are here?” This is what many theorists are assuming at the moment.

Who’s playing Lucia in Grand Theft Auto 6?

Apart from Lucia’s storyline in the game, there’s another question most of the fans want to get answered: Who is the actress portraying Lucia in GTA 6? Sadly, this mystery is still going unsolved despite many rumors and leaks. Previously, it was believed that Puerto Rican actress Alexandra C. Echavarri was the voice of Lucia, but that’s not the case anymore.

Alexandra gave a much-needed clarification over the rumor in one of her Instagram posts from last month. While revealing her involvement with GTA Online, for voicing a character named Lupe, she provided a clear answer over her rumored GTA 6 role. “I am NOT in GTA VI,” she wrote while replying to a fan’s question.

All things considered, fans will have to wait longer to learn about all the actual cast members. In short, patience is their virtue for now.
