As a medical process, HRT is itself challenging on so many levels, but with social elements and with social strings attached, there’s a lot an individual has to tackle. For instance, a lot of individuals going through HRT feel physical insecurities, lack of confidence, and self-doubt. And most importantly, the therapy tests your patience. A social media user described the same through a beautiful post on X (formerly Twitter). She wrote, “I feel like we need to start sharing early transition selfies too as a way to encourage baby trans girls who feel they aren’t seeing changes.”
Every person transitioning goes through babytrans. It’s different for everyone, but you are finding yourself and allowing yourself for the first time the space to be your authentic self. Don’t feel bad for trying and not getting it right at first. You will find yourself💜 https://t.co/ZbPZINSW8c pic.twitter.com/chkf3QxD0R

The user’s post garnered a lot of attention and it was intriguing enough to invite the reaction of Kris Tyson. She wrote, “Every person transitioning goes through babytrans. It’s different for everyone, but you are finding yourself and allowing yourself for the first time the space to be your authentic self. Don’t feel bad for trying and not getting it right at first. You will find yourself.”
When she began expressing herself as a lady is uncertain. However, certain changes—like longer hair—had already become noticeable by the end of 2022. videos such as her longer hair, lack of facial hair, and fashion sense have all been more noticeable in the last several months, as shown in the MrBeast YouTube videos. In July of this year, the public announcement was made later.
For a lot of people, the discussion around all the social and psychological challenges that are faced by individuals seeking gender identity might come across as newfangled. However, when looking through the lens of the people going through the transition, one can understand the problems.
The everyday challenges of people seeking their real self
Of course, the public confession of Kris Tyson received wide applause from the community all around, but it also invited strong heat from one section of the community. An infamous social media influencer in association with the brand of MrBeast being thrashed over the web makes you wonder what a regular individual going through a similar phase might be subjected to.

For me, transitioning was a goal I never thought I’d achieve. So it’s so funny to me for people to say the things they say to try and get me to ‘go back’? Like you think the race is still going? When I transitioned I finally won in my life. I’m just doing a victory lap now 😋

There’s no denying the fact that society’s hatred is a major contributor to individuals not being able to express themselves as who they really are. “It’s so funny to me for people to say the things they say to try and get me to ‘go back’? Like you think the race is still going? When I transitioned I finally won in my life. I’m just doing a victory lap now,” Kris had written a note addressing the hatred she had been receiving earlier.
