It seems like the webs are connected to the unfortunate leaks that has put Insomniac Games in a tough spot. So far, a lot of details based on the studio’s future projects have emerged on the internet. For the uninitiated, the upcoming Wolverine game was recently leaked with a fully playable version for PC. However, the latest intel regarding Marvel character Silk might be something fans will get attracted to.
On Reddit, many users recently discussed the possibility of a Silk game from Insomniac Games on PS5. This speculation comes from the leaked documents. There seems to be an alleged projection for the Silk title and how it may perform after releasing for PlayStation.
“I was going through the documents in the recent insomniac leak, and found an excel spreadsheet that had a tab dedicated to info regarding a Silk game,” reads the post by the Redditor who mentioned the details. It appears they somehow managed to get access to the information. Once again, nothing is actually confirmed and should be taken with a grain of salt.

Speaking briefly about the character herself, Silk is actually Cindy Moon. She’s a Korean-American student who was bitten by the same radioactive spider that gave Peter Parker his superhuman abilities. In the comics, she has been a part of the Spider-Army/Web Warriors and the Agents of Atlas. She was also teased in this year’s Spider-Man 2 during a post-credit scene featuring Miles Morales. (Game ending- spoilers ahead)
In one of the 2 post credits scenes, Rio introduces her guests to Miles and Hailey. Rio introduces the man who turns to be Albert Moon. And Albert introduces the person with him. His daughter. While we don’t get to see her face, he introduces her as Cindy. Of course, the sequence was the introduction of Cindy Moon to the franchise. But beyond that, fans don’t know yet what role she will play. She could get her own game, or be the next wall-crawler to fight alongside the Spider-Men in Spider-Man 3. It is already known that Miles will be the main Spider-Man going forward. In the end of Spider-Man 2, we see a passing of the torch moment where Peter shares that he will be taking a break from crime fighting, but Miles says he’s ready. So maybe we’ll see Miles take Cindy under his wing. Like how Peter mentored Miles.
