Another lawsuit awaits Rockstar Games. Following the release of the GTA 6 trailer, the hype has never been more real. However, the trailer has also attracted unwanted attention. In a second instance, a person has claimed Rockstar Games used his likeness in the game. 

From the detailed NPCs to social media parodies, the GTA 6 trailer showed how the devs were taking a step towards adding more realistic features to the game. However, that very aspect seems to have backfired. In a second possible lawsuit, a person has come forward seeking compensation from the devs.

Man compares himself to an In-game character of GTA 6

In a recent viral TikTok video, a man from Florida has invited attention from the GTA community. The TikTok profile @zoeepoppyy took to their account and compared one of the characters appearing in the GTA trailer with his looks side by side. According to the person’s claims, he and the character have a striking resemblance. Thus, Rockstar Games owes compensation to the person.. 

Man, y’all notice me, man. Yeah, I know a real Floridian as known man, come one, y’all know this Florida boy, come on let me get paid. I don’t want no lawyer. I just want a cheque, so pay me. You’ll know that me,” the creator stated in the TikTok rant. 

All the fans who have been following the campaign of the GTA 6 trailer are no strangers to such a claim. Remember when The Florida Joker made headlines for making a similar claim? 

Revisiting the case of The Florida Joker 

A popular social media creator known as The Florida Joker had sought 2 million dollars as compensation from the GTA 6 devs. The latter took the internet by storm when he claimed Rockstar had allegedly used his personality in the game. Moreover, in a follow-up post to the claim, The Florida Joker has threatened to sue the developers if they don’t adhere to the compensation under a 3-day deadline.

I’m giving you the biggest free marketing, for that I want extra $1M. You got 3 days before my lawyers go crazy. I got hard evidence,” the Joker said in a TikTok video. Further, the creator mentioned the fact that this claim won’t go down as the Lindsay Lohan case from GTA V!

For context, Lindsay Lohan had also tried to sue Rockstar Games for allegedly using her likeness in GTA V. However, the actor failed in her attempt for the same. How will things play out this time? Surely we’ll know soon.
