The OG Chapter of Fortnite has marked the homecoming of a lot of celebrated veterans of the game. But who would have thought a kid who is far from voting or driving age would be stealing the show? Well, thanks to the ‘coolest mama’ in town, a young gamer is able to pursue his passion. And the community is all praise for a supportive mother. The gaming world is going gaga over the sweetest Reddit confession by a gamer’s mother.

There’s no denying the fact that Epic Games’ Battle Royale enjoys wide popularity among the youth and young gaming fanatics. Just being a tactical shooter with a variety of combat skins certainly sits well with the younger players. Further, the top-tier collaborations that are constantly introduced in the game help with the game’s relevancy in pop culture. But is it possible to groom a Fortnite champion right from the age of 10?

Recently, a unique Reddit confession garnered a lot of community attention. It was a post made by a concerned mother investing her time in the likes and dislikes of her child when she discovered her kid was a Fortnite enthusiast. The mother realized her child was already in the ‘Elite’ ranking, which apparently was surprising for her husband as well who himself is a player of Worlds of Warcraft.

Now, the advice she’s seeking from the community is if the kid should be pursuing Fortnite only considering his stats or if he should try and explore other shooting games from the industry library.

I’ve tried encouraging him to play other games, as I work at a University and we have an esports team that plays “League of Legends, Overwatch, Valorant and Rocket League.” I’d think he’d have a better “chance” at a different game because it seems like there are so many people in Fortnite trying to “make it,” she wrote in the confession. At the end of the note, she signed off as “Clueless Fortnite Momma.”

The way she mentioned the kid’s eagerness to explore the Battle Royale after trying to seek interest in a lot of various sports certainly testifies to his knack for the tactical shooter. Wondering what the community advised the curious mother?

Fortnite Fans are overwhelmed with the new parenting style!

While the mother approached the subs of Reddit for some gaming advice for her kid, the community began celebrating this supporting parenting style of the mother. Her inspiring enthusiasm toward her son pursuing the Fortnite dream certainly left a lot of other veterans of the game ‘jealous’.

A netizen already predicted the bright future of the 10-year-old Elite. They wrote, Yes you should be proud he’s going to be the next Bugha.” For context, Bugha aka Kyle Giersdorf is a 20-year-old popular Battle Royale eSports pro.

For the critical review session, a gaming veteran broke down the scores and ranks, and here’s what they had to say. Elite rank is good but not otherworldly, and it’s easier to rank up than usual this year so it’s not super easy to tell someone’s skill by their rank. The points totals sound much more obviously impressive, and he’s clearly a good player to score so highly,” the comment read.

Another user praised the mother, stating, All other things aside, you sound like a really caring and supportive parent!”
