Over the years, we have seen quite a few mods being released for Red Dead Redemption 2. But the latest announcement of a mod certainly has the attention of players. There’s a new mod for RDR2 that takes players to Mexico. While players could always explore these parts of the map, the mod gives them a detailed look at Nuevo Paraiso.

Exploring Mexico in Red Dead Redemption 2

An industry insider shared a new mod that gives players a chance to explore Nuevo Paraiso from Red Dead Redemption. Players could always reach Mexico as the devs have created the map for the place but left out on details. However, the new mod introduces details to the buildings and as it is still in early access, the devs will continue to add features to the same.

The new mod has been developed by the Mexico Team and can be downloaded from LibertyCity.Net. Mexico Team announced that they are working on introducing NPCs to give the barren Mexico some residents.

Players will get to experience detailed interiors and see well-designed buildings in the Mexico settlement. Some of the most notable features of the mod are the enhanced flooring, realistic fruit details, and intricate elements like chandeliers.

As many fans have glitched the game to get to Nuevo Paraiso only to find nothing, the team aspired to bring back the details that are nostalgic to players from Red Dead Redemption days.

How to glitch Red Dead Redemption 2 to get to Mexico?

In the past, a glitch to get to Mexico was discovered and over the years, there have been many iterations to it. While this glitch has been patched in the past, Exploit Theory discovered the most recent way to perform this glitch. Using this method, players can glitch into Nuevo Paraiso by getting drunk in one of two caves. Cave Hermit and Giant Cave are the two caves where players can perform this glitch.

Players can find Cave Hermit at the south of the Stilt Shack, a big valley in West Elizabeth. Similarly, the Giant Cave is located west of The Loft in Ambarino.

A step-by-step guide to glitch into Mexico:

• Stay far from the boundaries of New Austin to avoid getting shot. Buy enough provisions, liquors, and horse care before attempting the glitch.
• Approach one of the two caves.
• Go deep inside the cave
• Drink liquors until you pass out.
• You will spawn on top of the mountain.
• Be careful not to go too close to map borders to avoid sliding into the explorable map.
• From Nuevo Paraiso, travel northeast to reach Mexico or southeast to reach Guarma.

Except for El Presidio, the entire state of Nuevo Paraiso is a wasteland and the new mod gives players a detailed area to explore. Places like Escalera or Casa Madrugada are currently empty spaces and the mod helps add details to the once barren land.

Using this mod, players will get to relive the memories in Mexico from the original Red Dead Redemption.
