Hideo Kojima Arrives in LA Ahead of The Game Awards 2023, a Game Announcement Most Likely Incoming

Hideo Kojima is one of the most successful video game directors in gaming. And it’s no surprise that every game that he works on ends up being a masterpiece and gains unmatched success. Exactly this happened to Death Stranding, the last game he worked on. The game became a massive success and even won a bunch of awards for its innovation. This success was followed by his announcing a sequel, Death Stranding 2, last year with a trailer.

That trailer was shown during 2022’s Game Awards show. And as the date for this year’s Game Awards draws closer, fans kept wondering if they would get an update on this game. It looks like that’s exactly what’s going to happen!

Hideo Kojima is on his way to show fans more of Death Stranding 2!

The first trailer for Death Stranding 2 debuted last year during the Game Awards 2022. Fans were equally surprised and blown away by the quality of it. The game looked like a pretty phenomenon. But just like he usually does, Hideo Kojima skipped giving any information on that game after that. If that was not enough, he spent the better part of the year just not talking about it in any way. But it looks like that silence is at an end!

Hideo Kojima recently posted a picture hinting at his arrival in LA. And fans have instantly put two and two together and come to the conclusion that maybe he is for The Game Awards 2023. And it might even mean that he would be showing off some new footage from his upcoming PlayStation 5 exclusive, Death Stranding 2. This time, he might even end up announcing the launch date for it. Given the fact that the previous trailer was pretty polished, it might mean that it is now much closer to completion.

And if its sequel is even half as innovative and deep, the wait would be totally worth it.
