When it comes to large and complicated games like Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3, not everything goes by the book. There are always multiple ways of doing something and while some might be more efficient, others are just straight-up cool. Having a Killstreak going is great as it allows players to cash in on some advantages over the enemies. One of the early kill streaks that players get in the game is the UAV and the Counter-UAV. While the UAV gives one team vision on the map, the Counter-UAV negates this advantage.

Even with Counter-UAVs deployed, players can take them out by simply shooting it down. But while most players are using this approach, one Redditor changed things up by using the new Breacher Drone to take it out.

Using the Breacher Drone instead of bullets to take out the Counter-UAV

The Breacher Drone is a new piece of equipment introduced in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. This Drone comes armed with a C4 bomb that travels in a straight line and explodes in the proximity of enemies or upon impact. One Redditor saw this new weapon and took the opportunity to use it to take out Counter-UAVs.

Although players can destroy Counter-UAV’s using simple bullets, the Redditor used the weapon and sent it to a Counter-UAV until it collided and exploded. The Breacher Drone not only deals damage to a single target but gives an AOE damage area. Further, the player used two Breacher Drones to take down a Counter-UAV. Although this method is less efficient compared to directly shooting it, the Redditor says that it would be “not as cool.”

While using the drone is an interesting way to take out the Counter-UAV, this can be used to take out other players, too. Further, it can be even be used on helicopters. Since the game’s launch, many players have been using this drone, and it has led to some very funny moments. Many videos of the Breacher Drone taking out multiple enemies in one go are trending on social media.

Along with the drone, Modern Warfare has featured its famous Killstreak system. And while the drone is a powerful piece of equipment, Killstreak rewards take things to the next level.

New Killstreaks/Scorestreak rewards in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 brings back the Killstreak and the Scorestreak, different ways that players can collect game-changing rewards. Both are very similar, but instead of counting kills, players can take advantage of the rewards with points. While Call of Duty games feature a long list of rewards, there have been 5 new ones added to the game. Here are all the Killstreaks added in Modern Warfare 3:

1. Mosquito Drone:
   • A micro-drone with bombing capabilities. Scans the area for enemies and crashes into them, causing a lethal explosion.
   • Kill Count: 4
   • Required Score: 500
2. SAM Turret:
   • Surface-to-air missile system that attacks enemy air vehicles.
   • Kill Count: 4
   • Required Score: 500
3. Guardian-SC:
   • Functions as a dazzler, a stun beam device. Slows down enemy troops, blurs their visions, and disrupts UIs without causing direct damage.
   • Kill Count: 5
   • Required Score: 625
4. Remote Turret:
   • An automated weapon system that scans, locates, and eliminates enemies at range.
   • Kill Count: 7
   • Required Score: 875
5. Juggernaut Recon:
   • Includes a Riot Shield, Haymaker (shotgun), smoke grenade, and a UAV-like radar that exposes nearby enemies for a short duration.
   • Kill Count: 8
   • Required Score: 1000

The new Breacher Drone and the Killstreaks have excited players about the future of the game and the franchise.
