Two time Xfinity series winner Ross Chastain did something the world couldn’t believe during the 500-lap Xfinity 500 at Martinsville on October 30, 2022. I think the first time I saw a race car do that was in on a video game on the GameCube, 2005. I didn’t know how it would work out. I didn’t know if the physics would work to make it around the corner but it did,” Chastain said in a post-race interview.

Chastain went into fifth gear and slammed it to the wall to boost up the trajectory and speed. Without being aware if the physics would work out or not, the driver just went for it. And what happened next is hard to believe for a lot of spectators to date. Checkout the video below to see his reaction.
