However, the first-look reveal would smash monumental records like nothing, which is astonishing even for the pre-existing predictions. At the time of writing, the official trailer has broken three big records on the platform. Well, it looks like the world is celebrating heading back to Vice City. So, here are all the records the GTA 6 trailer has broken in 24 hours.

GTA 6 is convincingly dominating the YouTube space

The expectations were set sky-high as all the GTA fans counted down to the launch. A countdown that was over a decade long! Fortunately, Rockstar Games did not disappoint, as they stood up to their promises. And there it was, a trailer for ‘the most expensive entertainment product of all time’. The phenomenal reception it received was a testament to how frustrating the wait had been to have a sneak peek into the new Grand Theft Auto Universe.

The three records that had been broken by the end of the 24-hour launch window are:

Most viewed YouTube video in 24 Hours (Non-Music) 

 The first record that the GTA 6 trailer smashed belonged to the platform’s king, MrBeast. The creator’s video had held the record for the most-viewed video in 24 hours for a non-music category, with close to 46 million views. The fact that GTA 6 broke this record in under 8 hours of its launch showcased the level of hype that is built around the project.

Most Liked Trailer on YouTube 

The first look at the new GTA World became the most liked gaming trailer in the history of the platform. It recorded over 8.9 million likes in just one full-day circle time frame. Not just video gaming, it has even surpassed the numbers of the Avengers Endgame’.

The Marvel epic had 4.1 million likes, almost half of the GTA 6 trailer. The gaming trailer that previously held the throne was the Battlefield 1 official trailer, with 2.6 million likes. The numbers simply signify the popularity of the brand.

Most Viewed Video Game Reveal in 24 Hours 

 Not surprisingly, this record also belongs to the Rockstar brand. The trailer has become the most-viewed video game reveal on YouTube in 24 hours, with 90,421,491 views.
