Judging by the amount of noise the tweet announcing that there will be a trailer in December and the tweet with the trailer date made, it’s safe to assume the trailer will make waves. The tweet by Rockstar Games with the studio president, Sam Houser’s message that the trailer would release in December, became the most-liked gaming Twitter ever, with over two million likes! If that’s anything to go by, the impact of the trailer is anybody’s guess. Further, it’s been over 10 years since GTA V released. And this will be the first official look at the game. Now the only thing left is to see if in the process of breaking the internet, will it shatter any records.

Let’s look at the most obvious records that the GTA 6 trailer could beat. MrBeast and BTS fans might want to look away.

  • Fastest Video to reach 10 million views

Currently, the fastest YouTube video to reach 10 million views is held by BTS for Butter Official Music Video. The video was uploaded on May 21, 2021, and recorded 10 million views in just 13 minutes post the upload.

  • Fastest Video to reach 10 million views (Non-Music)

No points for guessing! This particular record is currently owned by MrBeast for his $1 vs $100,000,000 house tour feature. The October upload reached the 10 million mark in just 2 hours and 14 minutes of time.

  • Fastest video to reach 50 million views

The BTS song Butter Official also holds the record for gaining 50 million views faster than any other video on the platform. The feature recorded the achievement in 6 hours and 5 minutes post its upload.

  • Fastest to 10 million likes

Not surprising as another BTS record makes it to the list, but for how long? The Butter official song got 10 million likes in just a day and 10 hours after it went live on the forum.

The industry pundits believe all these records are in a comfortable range of GTA 6 with all the hype built around the project. So, can the trailer achieve what seems like a dream for any other YouTube video? If the community votes are taken into consideration, the answer is yes.
